Great Trip, Prayer Needs
My last trip to Moldova and Turkey went better than expected…Our team was reminded of the challenges of ministry to Turks and also the privilege that it is to contribute to the gospel being proclaimed in the most unengaged country in the world…I have two prayer requests for me personally…On June 1st Kathryn and I will go to Moldova and Turkey to visit leaders from 8 different churches.
My last trip to Moldova and Turkey went better than expected. Thank you so much for your prayers. Hakan and Luda in Moldova were encouraged and it was encouraging to our team to see the opportunity for ministry that Hakan and Luda have in Moldova. God used our team to bless Suat, Muge and their kids with gifts that were clearly an answer to prayer. Our team was reminded of the challenges of ministry to Turks and also the privilege that it is to contribute to the gospel being proclaimed in the most unengaged country in the world.
I have two prayer requests for me personally. Please pray for wisdom and clarity as I continue in Barnaba Ministry. There are so many good things that I can do but I want to work on what God has for me to do. In Turkey there are invitations to serve in many ways but I’m limited on time. In the US there are many directions I can take to advocate for the church in Turkey and I need God’s guidance. Thank you for praying for me in this.
Secondly, please pray that I would get enough rest. I struggle to slow down and rest well. After these two trips so far this year, it is clear to me that I need to take more time to recover. I’m trying to build rest into my schedule and keep myself from over committing. I’m grateful for your prayers.
On June 1st Kathryn and I will go to Moldova and Turkey to visit leaders from 8 different churches. If you would like to get updates during the trip and more details please sign up here.
